Colorado VINE Alerts

Colorado VINE / VINELink is the practical online notification path for Washington County custody changes because no verified official Washington County, Colorado rolling 24-hour or 72-hour release feed was found. VINE can help track release, transfer, escape, death, or other custody-status changes, but it is not a full court record or sheriff booking file.

What VINE Can Confirm

Colorado VINE is a custody-status and notification system fed by participating agencies. It can signal that a person is in custody, released, transferred, or otherwise changed status. If a result identifies Washington County Jail, compare the facility and identifiers carefully. If it shows another facility, the Washington County release may have been a transfer.

A released VINE result is a status signal, not the full legal outcome. For release reason, release timestamp, or transfer destination, call Washington County Jail. For bond, sentence, dismissal, or probation, use Washington Combined Court.

How to Check One Person

  1. Go to Colorado VINE at vinelink.vineapps.com/state/CO/ENGLISH or vinelink.com/state/CO.
  2. Choose offender or custody search.
  3. Search by full last name and first name or first initial; use an ID if available.
  4. Compare name, facility, custody status, age/date of birth, or other identifiers shown.
  5. If no result appears, try alternate spellings and then call the sheriff or court. Absence from VINE is not proof of no booking or no release.

Notifications and PINs

For notification registration, open the matching person and choose Register, Details, or Get Notified as offered by the live interface. Select phone, email, text, or app options when available. Phone alerts commonly require a four-digit PIN to confirm receipt of the call; keep that PIN because it may be needed to stop or acknowledge notifications.

A Colorado county source lists the COVINE toll-free number as 1-888-263-8463 and describes the service as free, 24-hour, and available in English and Spanish. The live VINE screen controls the current options.

Limits of VINE

VINE is agency-fed and can be delayed. It does not replace the court docket for disposition, the sheriff for release records, CDOC for state-prison time computation, BOP for federal release, or ICE ODLS for immigration custody. Register before an expected release when possible and confirm critical information with the holding agency.
